EA slashes iPad game prices

You may or may not be aware, but there is the little matter of the iPad 2 launch in the UK on 25 March.

The device goes on sale at 5pm UK time in the Apple Stores (1am online) and, to celebrate, EA has slashed the prices of all of its iPad titles, with some games having 80 per cent cut from their usual cost.

The sale lasts until Monday 28 March, so it gives you a couple of days in which to get your new iPad 2 all loaded up with some of the best mobile gaming titles.

The full list of games is as follows:

- Dead Space – now ?3.99 was ?5.99

- Fifa 11 – now ?2.99 was ?5.99

- Scrabble – now ?2.39 was ?3.99

- Mirrors Edge – now 59p was ?2.99

- Monopoly – now ?2.99 was ?5.99

- Need For Speed Hot Pursuit – now ?2.99 was ?5.99

- Reckless Racing HD – now 59p was ?2.99

- Need For Speed Shift – now ?1.79 was ?5.99

- Tetris – now ?1.79 was ?2.99

- Sim City Deluxe – now ?1.79 was ?2.99

- Madden 11 – now 59p was ?1.79

- Pictureka – now 59p was ?2.99

- Boggle – now 59p was ?1.79

- Risk – now ?1.79 was ?3.99 ?

- Command & Conquer: Red Alert - now 59p was ?2.99

- The Game of Life – now ?1.79 was ?3.99
