The three things you need to know about the Seattle 2.0 Awards!

#1: It was an awesome event with an energy and atmosphere like no other event. If you were there, you know what I’m saying, if you were not, you lost an opportunity to be deeply motivated and inspired.

#2: Mark Suster rocked the stage – no, he didn’t sing – but he delivered a phenomenal call-to-action, and I’m sure I’m not going to be able to capture on this post the impact of this talk, but it boiled down to: Separate the doers from the talkers; We need just a few leaders to make a big difference; do something that’s meaningful and the world really needs it. I’ll post the video next week.

Want more?

We’ll be posting pictures on our Facebook page, uploading videos to Seattle 2.0 TV and writing more blog posts here (get it via feed or email). You should also check out the Geekwire coverage and the Twitter stream. If you have pictures, blog posts, videos or anything else, leave a link on the comments and we’ll round up everything into a blog post.

Finally, I have to say thank you for all our amazing sponsors (SEOmoz, Microsoft, Garvey Schubert Barer, TechDwellers, McNaul Ebel Nawrot Helgren and Twilio), all our event crew (Lynn, Abbey, Phrank, Ryan & Team), all the volunteers (Brian, Cameron, Arianna), the pic/vid guys (Forrest, Jeff and Adam), the startups who were part of the Startup Showcase, our guest speaker Mark Suster, all the finalists and winners, all the award presenters, and a special thanks to Dave Schappell for being a great supporter, sounding board and advocate of what I do.

Let’s startup!
