LG's QWERTY keyboard touting Windows Phone 7 device reviewed
If you’ve struggled to find out what the LG Optimus 7Q or LG Quantum (depending on where you are in the world) actually looks like in the flesh you’ve clearly been looking in the wrong place.
Luckily for you then that Pocket-lint has grabbed the new handset, snapped it like it's a starlet on a red carpet and dished up those pictures without you having to lift a finger (well apart from clicking through our photo gallery).
The new QWERTY slider from LG brings with it Windows Phone 7 love and as you can see from the photos sports a full QWERTY keyboard across four rows complete with happy smiley face. A couple of emails and Word documents later and that keyboard shows that its easy to use, although for those not wanting to whip it out every time you can use the onscreen keyboard when closed shut.?
If you’re wondering, and we know you are, that’s a 3.5-inch capacitive screen making it one of the smallest Windows Phone 7 screen around, although boffins will know that's still the same size as the Apple iPhone 4.
Elsewhere there’s a 5-megapixel camera, 720p video recording and Windows Phone 7 and all that it has to offer.
Well built, it’s slightly chunkier than the LG Optimus 7 and for those looking for a keyboard to be able to actually type anything this currently is going to be your main choice, given that the HTC 7 Pro is currently missing in action and the Dell Venue Pro has yet to be launched in any great numbers other than appearing online.
Expect a full review shortly.
