Manufacturer seemingly prepping handset
It's fairly common knowledge that with Microsoft and Nokia sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G, other manufacturers of Windows Phone 7 handsets are stroking their chins and wondering whether to continue with the operating system. So, it comes as a surprise that it seems Sony Ericsson is still preparing a WP7 phone of its own.
However, as it was named as a Windows Phone 7 partner almost a year ago, maybe this device will be the fruit of that agreement? Or perhaps it's an eager fan buggering about...
If true though, it shows that Sony Ericsson is looking to dip its toe into new waters. The device clearly has a QWERTY keyboard and is charged through a micro USB cable (as pointed out by esato.com). Other than that, not much is known about the prototype. It'll certainly be interesting to see if it ever makes it to this side of the pond, and what carrier will take it.
Maybe WP7 will have a life outside of Finland after all.
