Windows Phone 7 goes CDMA
The HTC Arrive, basically a re-badged HTC 7 Pro?has arrived at Sprint, the US carrier bringing with it Windows Phone 7 to CDMA.
The new model from HTC will be virtually identical to the one announced in October and has just recently hit the UK.
For those who’ve forgotten what the HTC 7 Pro is, it’s the company’s QWERTY slider handset with a tilting 3.6-inch screen, 1Ghz processor and, like other HTC handsets in the range, Dolby Mobile and SRS WOW?HD.?
The new handset, like the?HTC 7 Trophy,?HTC 7 Mozart,?and?HTC HD7, will bring the usual Microsoft excitement of Xbox LIVE, Windows Live, Bing and Zune.
That means you get the incredibly simple (some would say?boring) Hub and Tile interface of Windows Phone 7 along with People,?Pictures, Games, Music & Video, Office and Marketplace hubs in addition to HTC’s own offering.
